The purpose of this educational activity is to enhance clinician knowledge in the ever-changing area of complications associated with Neonatology as well as promising new techniques and interventions for improving outcomes in this arena. This presentation will address how to safely and effectively administer exogenous surfactant by aerosol to newborns with respiratory distress syndrome.

3. Identify which newborns are most likely to benefit from aerosolized surfactant.
