Overview

Obstetrics is a dynamic specialty that regularly experiences the introduction of new knowledge and therapies. Now in its 35th year, this meeting continues to be unique both in addressing many of the current, dynamic and controversial issues in perinatal medicine as well as the large faculty it attracts, all of whom are active in both patient care and clinical research. With 17 scheduled lectures lines, almost always becomes an engaging discussion among faculty, attendees and presenters. The wide variety of presentations encourages continued education to update clinicians and raise awareness for those involved in obstetric care. Practicing obstetricians, perinatologists, OB nurses, sonographers, nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners are encouraged to attend. The conference will help participants:

  • Enhance medical knowledge
  • Polish interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strengthen professionalism
  • Employ evidence-based practices
  • Apply quality improvement initiatives

ACCME Objectives
  1. The attendees will appropriately implement at least one new strategy, technique(s) or intervention(s) in high-risk perinatal patient care.

ANCC Learning Outcomes

Cancellation Policy
