Dr. Jennifer McNulty is double boarded in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.  Her medical training, including residency and fellowship was obtained at the University of California, Irvine.  She is currently a staff physician at Long Beach Memorial Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital where she is in private practice with 12 other MFM physicians, providing 24/7 in house labor and delivery and maternal transport coverage.  For the past 9 years, she has chaired the Women’s Best Practice Team for the multi hospital Memorial Care System where approximately 10,000 women give birth annually.  In addition, she is a Clinical Professor at UC Irvine Medical School and is responsible for teaching and training medical students, Ob Gyn residents and Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows.  She participated as an expert member of the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative Hemorrhage Task Force in 2008 as well the updated task force in 2014.  She participated as a physician leader for the Memorial Care team in the CMQCC first and second statewide hemorrhage collaboratives, as well as the pre-eclampsia collaborative.   She subsequently has served as a mentor to other hospital teams within the California Partnership for Maternal Safety and in the California Collaborative to Support Vaginal Birth.  In addition, she is the immediate past chair of the board of directors of Planned Parenthood of Pasadena San Gabriel Valley, where she has served on the board since 2009.
